2023 Statsbank Hackathon Awards Ceremony
The 2023 Statsbank Hackathon Awards Ceremony II 26th October 2023. The CEO of Bureau of Market & Social Research Ltd (MSR), Isaac Gwumah, represented on the judging panel.
Ghana Statistical Service, in partnership with Statistics Denmark, organized a National Hackathon for students from the University of Ghana, The University of Cape Coast, the University of Health and Allied Sciences, The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and the University for Development Studies following competitions held at each university. The Hackathon’s aim is to raise awareness of the GSS StatsBank and to promote the use of census data for policy-relevant research.

Presentation – Ghana’s First Regional Brand Index Report
The Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) launched Ghana’s first-ever Regional Brands Index at the Labadi Beach Hotel. As the executive director of the Bureau of Market & Social Research and team leader for the research, I presented the results of the study to invited stakeholders that included the National Development Planning Commission, Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture.

As CEO of the Bureau of Market & Social Research, I joined SNV Ghana to highlight market opportunities available for #GrEEnSMEs. The findings are from various value chain research reports conducted by the Bureau.
